5th Element Zirrafe Ski Package 2012 - The 5th Element Zirrafe Ski Package is versatile for any beginner-to-intermediate skier looking to improve their skills on the mountain. Built around an 85mm waist and a full wood core, the Zirrafe Skis have a great edge hold and with its rocker in both the tip and tail along with a mellow rise you'll have almost an automatic turn initiation without sacrificing the edge feel and control as speed increases. The rocker also increases the performance of the Zirrafe off-piste, allowing it to float on crud and powder for effortless arcs no matter the snow pack. The Salomon Z11 Bindings are lightweight and offer a controlled release to keep you protected. High lateral transmission gives you more precision and more control over your skis to give you better overall performance. You'll have Salomon SPK 90 Ski Boots with My Custom Fit Sport Liner which is stiff and tough enough to reduce that packed out sloppy feeling. A 55mm strap acts like a third buckle to give you more support and rebound when it is time to rail some fast turns on the groomers. An extra padded spoiler, two density heel cushioning reduce the vibrations from stomped landings. The Salomon Cushioning System is a soft toe insert in the toe box of the boot to lower the chances of losing a toe nail when you come down on the tails of your skis.
