Atomic Race D2 GS Junior Race Skis 2012 - The Race D2 GS junior giant slalom race board is build for young racers form those that are just getting into the race world to the most experienced young racer. The reason the Race D2 GS works for is due to the D2 plate systems which allows the ski to be forgiving and reasonable easy to ski at lower speeds but become powerful and explosive at higher speeds offering everything aggressive racers need. The Race D2 GS is FIS legal for J3 and J4 but it also works for older, lighter weight teen racers, such as high school racers, that do not need to follow FIS requirements. With the Race D2 GS it is very important to note that different sizes require different styles of bindings. Sizes 165cm and smaller require a Neox binding from Atomic and sizes 171cm and larger require a X binding from Atomic. Whether you are an experienced J3 or J4 skier or just entering the race scene the Race D2 GS is a great giant slalom board to run the gates with. .
