While Waveflex technology provides the backbone, the 78 gets its soul from a Power Woodcore running tip to tail. The core gives the 72 a light, poppy and powerful feel to help keep the turn initiation light and accurate without being demanding. With all of this the Waveflex 72 ends up being both smooth and powerful, quick but forgiving, it walks a straight line up the middle.
