With mellow flex but strong edge hold, because of the Step Down Sidewall construction, the Affinity Pure is forgiving enough for athletic beginners to hop on but has enough support to handle strong intermediate skiers as well. Since it comes in sizes down to 142cm it also works great for teens and juniors that have outgrown kids gear and need something that can take them all over the mountain. Based on a 79mm waist the Affinity Pure is the perfect ski for anyone who really wants to start spending some time exploring the mountain as it will float in light chop and soft snow but is still narrow enough to be easy going on hard packed snow. The Adaptive Rocker profile also helps provide the great all mountain feel of the Pure. By adding the slight tip rise the Affinity Pure has an effortless turn initiation both on and off piste with added float in chop and crud so the tip won't hang up or feel hooky when the snow pack becomes inconsistent.
