K2 50th Anniversary SuperFree Womens Skis with K2/Marker ER3 10.0 Bindings 2013 - To celebrate their 50th anniversary K2 has release the SuperFree with a familiar graphic. The K2 SuperFree is a great ski for the intermediate to advanced skier that is not afraid to explore the whole mountain. The SuperFree is the first ski in the line to incorporate the Hybritech Sidewall. Hybritech Sidewalls are a blend of cap construction in the tip and the tail of the ski, with a vertical sidewall along most of the ski. The SuperFree gives you the best of both worlds, forgiveness, and edge grip all rolled up into one package. The Mod Technology and Mod Monic Dampening system keep the shovel of the ski stable and chatter free, by adding a solid zinc mass, that absorbs the negative vibrations that are caused by firm or cruddy snow. A Bioflex 2 Core is made from 2 different types of wood. 70% of the core is Aspen and 30% is Paulownia, that unique blend reduces the swing weight of the ski, and adds an extra layer of power, and control. The K2/Marker ER3 binding system is shorter and softer than the mens binding system so the ski can flex smoother, and the ski loses almost a half of a pound of total weight. A lighter ski will help you conserve your energy for more aggressive skiing. .
