Atomic Smoke Skis with XTO 10 Bindings 2013 - The Atomic Nomad Smoke is a great ski for the true beginner, or the young tween who is ready for their first system ski. The Cap Fiber construction is very forgiving, so the light weight or mellow ski can get the Smoke to turn, and react to the pressure that they will be putting on the ski, without wasting a lot of energy. The All Mountain Rocker has 85% camber underfoot that will give you some control, and some spring to your turns, while the 15% rocker in the tip of the ski will help you initiate turns easier so you will be carving in no time. The Cap Fiber construction protects the ski from damage in the tips and tails, and will give you a responsive ski without being overly heavy. The Step Down Sidewalls underneath the binding plate act as a dampening system, to reduce negative vibrations, and increase the edge grip of the smoke, so you will have a stable ride at slow to medium speeds, and lots of control on the groomed slopes. At 77mm underfoot the Smoke has a slightly wider waist than other skis at this level, so when the groomers have some snow pushed around on them later in the day you will have a cleaner more stable ride.
