Take all that you know about the versatile JJ and add even more powder potential! The AK JJ is designed float in even the deepest powder due wider dimensions from tip to tail. Using the same materials and Big Mountain construction as the Norwalk, the AK JJ adds EST Freeride Rocker profile, which rocks a healthy dose of rocker in the tip and tail and maintains enough positive camber underfoot to carve. The ski is significantly lightened up with a Hybrid Ultralight Core, using light weight wood with preinstalled ABS layers alongside the core for strength, and FR50 Construction, which is a cap at the tip and tail and sidewall underfoot. To stiffen the ski, a bidirectional fiberglass sheet overlays the core and Carbon and Kevlar Stringers are used in the tail to increase pop and extend the life of the ski.So float, jib, boot, or carve, or ski that Chugach Spine, the AK JJ will perform.
