If the Magnum 8.7 is a sports car with four wheel drive the M-Power FS IQ is a Formula One race car that someone put mud tires on. The M-Power FS IQ is built on the same 87mm chassis as the 8.7 for great all mountain performance and shares construction and core with the 8.7 as well. The full sidewall, full wood core, and titanium layer all add up to create a powerful driving ski with a lively feel with unrivaled edge hold to transfer all your power to the snow. The M-Power FS IQ also gets the slight 5mm tip rocker to make for smooth and precise turn initiation with the ability for the tip to plane above crud and crust for good off trail performance. Where the M-Power starts to set itself apart is in the IQ Max Power binding system. As with all IQ Max systems it helps to increase edge to edge quickness and hold in skis over 80mm underfoot for a hard carving feel. Where this system differs is with the Power application by integrating a Piston Oil Damper to reduce 15 times more vibration than standard IQ Max. IQ Max Power also gets Carbon Power Boosters that transfer your strength directly to the tip and tail for powerful entry and exit to the turn with an unbelievably smooth feel through out and buttery transitions between turns.
