Product Description
A stripped down version of the Alpha 1, the Halo from Armada is a pure park application of EST Park Rocker. The park specific chassis makes for a ski that carves super easy between features, smooth buttering off them, and boosting over them. The EST Park Rocker gives a subtle rise to the tip and tail with camber underfoot to create a stable but super buttery ski with great pop and makes for a very short radius ski that is nimble and easy to manage but lands like a much bigger ski. While the Alpha 1 is a bit stiffer and better for big time features and massive jumps the Halo is a bit softer throughout making it better for more jib specific riders and smaller features, and with the short turn radius is an ideal midwest/east coast park ski where 80 foot booters are more rare. With AR50 construction and a Hybrid Double Zone core the Halo stays light with a very centered swing weight for easier spins and the CK Stringer adds huge amounts of pop and ollie power. For durability the Halo gets the S7 base made to hold up to sliding on just about any surface and 2.5 Impact edges for pull out and crack resistance. Stable underfoot and loose and buttery at the tip and tails the Halo absolutely slaughters the park. Features: Laminate Matrix - Blends Woven Fiberglass To Perfectly Control Flex And Balance Of the Ski, 2.5 Impact Edge - Oversized And Heat Treated To Resist Breaking And Tear Out.
