The 95mm footprint of the Palmer P04 makes it a good all mountain ski for out west, where all mountain often means finding powder in between groomers or mogul fields. The early rise of this model helps turn initiation, especially in variable conditions like crud and windblown snow. Let's not pigeon-hole this ski to just the west though, because the solid sidewall construction makes this grip the firm stuff that is more common 'back east.'
